Wild Wadi home to exhilarating ridesPrepare for the 32-metre-high Jumeirah Sceirah slide to literally sweep you off your feet as you reach speeds of speeds up to 80km/h, before experiencing the most recent attraction at Wild Wadi Waterpark™ – Tantrum Alley – which sees adventurers sitting in four-person inflatable tubes and spinning and swirling their way through a course of downhill waterslides and twisting tornadoes.Each ride at Wild Wadi Waterpark™ is awarded a thrill rating, so it’s easy to make the right choice for both teenagers and little water babies. For example, younger children will love the chance to take a leisurely float along the gentle currents of Juha’s Journey – a 360-metre long lazy river. Then there are the rapids of Flood River and the huge expanse of Breaker’s Bay, which is home to the largest wave pool in the Middle East.As well as rides, there’s the chance to try out exciting watersports like surfing at the Wild Wadi Wave Pool. Put your board skills to the test on the Wipeout and Riptide challenges, devised by legendary surf fanatic Thomas Lochtefeld. Thanks to a world-leading wave machine, there’s never a dull moment at this practice pool.And if you don’t feel like getting wet, parents can relax while keeping an eye on all the activity in the water by booking a VIP cabana. Situated close to Juha’s Journey and the wave pool, the Wadi Cabanas encourage time out thanks to their premium sun loungers, sumptuous towels, tables and chairs, and private refrigerators.If all these water-fuelled adventures have meant you’ve worked up an appetite, then you can rest assured that hungry tummies will find something delicious amid the many dining outlets at Wild Wadi Waterpark™.
