Ngoma Safari Lodge provides luxury safari accommodation on the Chobe River. Situated in on the edge of the valley in Northern Chobe, Botswana, within the Chobe Forest Reserve. Ngoma Safari Lodge is ideally situated 55km form the nearest town, Kasane and is the perfect base to explore the Magnificent Wonder of the Victoria Falls. Each exclusive luxury river-facing suite offers a quiet refuge in a truly African style, and includes an indoor bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers and a private outdoor sanctuary.
It is from here, where you will be able to gaze out onto the Caprivi floodplain and Chobe River, giving you the opportunity to view the magnificent Chobe elephants, herds of zebra or grazing buffalo.
Rooms
Our luxury thatched lodge offers unique safari accommodation. Set on the edge of the valley, each elegantly decorated room offers spectacular views of the Chobe River and Caprivi Flood plains.Wide glass windows let in soft natural light, giving you panoramic views of the Chobe Forest Reserve. Enjoy afternoon's game spotting from the sun deck or lounging by the pool followed by intimate candlelit dinners under the African sky.
Ngoma Suite
The six private suites offer quiet refuge in a luxurious setting, with views of the legendary Chobe river; giving you the opportunity to see the famous Chobe elephants, migrating zebra or buffalo grazing on the Caprivi floodplain below, depending on the season. Each suite has a full indoor bathroom as well as an outdoor shower and sanctuary.
Ngoma Triple Suite
The two triple suites are equally luxurious and spacious, with the addition of an Indian day bed that can be converted to a bed to cater for a third person.
Dining
The thatched lodge incorporates rustic and ethnic styles, with natural finishes and an emphasis on space and comfort. The central area includes a sitting room, dining room, bar area, game viewing deck, new pool deck and a plunge pool with a striking water feature. Spend evenings around the fire looking out at the floodlit waterhole.
Recreation
There are an abundance of Victoria Falls activities to choose from, from African safaris and adrenaline activities to dining in some of Zimbabwe’s finest restaurants and relaxing spa days. Chobe in Botswana also has a range of both exciting and tranquil activities on offer.
